Pluto Jonze, if you haven’t heard of him, is an upcoming Australian singer-songwriter, focused on maintaining the memory of the recently deceased David Bowie through his new single, ‘Swingin’ Like I’m Bowie’. The death of Jonze’s idol death caused him to have a difficult time, exclaiming that “last year sucked”, but he fiercely pushed through the gloom, ensuring that Bowie’s art was to “live on” - expressed clearly in the single and psychotropic music video, filmed entirely in the stunning outback.

Jonze’s main inspirations include The Beatles, Beck and David Bowie, focusing on creating his own groove-heavy brand of psych-pop, capturing the interest of a new worldwide audience, expanding on his loyal Australian fans since 2012. The powerful beat, dynamic hooks and catchy melody fit perfectly alongside the captivating lyrics, displaying Jonze’s strong and unique musical talent.

The Aussie singer is hopefully bringing the sun with him on his visit to the UK as he starts his trip to engage a wider audience across the globe alongside cover band Furnace and The Fundamentals on the 6th and 8th of August at The Islington, London, and then on the 23rd at The Portland Arms in Cambridge.
