The Arctic Monkeys are one of those cult bands that drift in and out the public eye, dropping an unbelievable record every few years, but whilst we wait for their next masterpiece, teenage new boys from Italy, Five o Five, can take their place.

With an indie-rock sound that mirrors the sounds of Alex Turner and co. as well the likes of the White Stripes and The Libertines, Five o Five are a highly impressive outfit considering every member of the four-piece is just 18 years old.

Now, the band are looking to provide something different to the usual music that’s on offer on the East Coast of Italy with their new single ‘Where They Bring Sophie’, which you can watch the video to here:

Made up of Piero (guitar/lead vocals), Andrea (drums), Riccardo (bass) and Alessandro (keyboards), the band was formed during the school years of Piero and Andrea who met in a Physical Education class. A number of line up changes followed, but Riccardo eventually came in having only bought his first bass guitar from Piero’s older brother just a month before, then after playing as a 3 piece for around year, Alessandro completed the band providing a new layer of texture.
